this, ladies and gentlemen, is solid as a rock proof that my mother and any (primative or otherwise) forms of technology do not - and never ever will - mix. this photograph was supposed to serve the purpose of a lasting reminder of my beautiful 20th birthday, with me, standing triumphantly infront of the lyceum theatre, with the glorious blue sky and sunshine shining down on covent garden, before my mother and i went inside to see the theatre production of the lion king. BUT NO. instead, well, it's my feet. and my sexual marksies twiggy bag. what perplexes me most about this photograph is the fact that my mum was holding the camera vertically... anyway, lion king was FANTASTIC omg even caps lock can't emphasise how amazing the show was. elephants parading up the aisles, ballet dancers swinging through the air in basically see-through leotards (leaving, well, nothing to the imaginatination), and just enough of songs and dialogue lifted directly from the film for me to be able to mouth along with them. ooohhh it was amazing. and basically the best birthday present ever? seriously, go watch it, now. the rest of the day was spent shop, shop, shopping. and eating. so my favouritest activities in the entire world - i was in heaven. i opened my presents at about eleven o'clock in the evening when we had returned home, i very gratefully received a laminator and laminator pouches which i pretty much couldn't be more excited about, and lots and lots of lovely books amongst other things. eeeee :D who said that birthdays get boring after you're done being a kid?! anyway, i must dash, there's some wuthering heights to be read outside in the sunshine!!
